Sunday, April 30, is something special! During morning worship service, we will be recognizing five graduating Seniors--Aleeya Grayson, Tennyson Keller, Emma Skloss, Lily Calhoun, and Tyler Commander--for their accomplishments. Scripture will be from John 10: 1-10 and the sermon title, presented by Reverend Jordan Byrd, is "Calling You Out." After morning worship, we will gather for a potluck Fellowship Dinner in the Fellowship Hall, again honoring our seniors. This is your chance to visit with these fine young people and wish them well on the next chapter of their lives. Come and share your Sunday with us here at First Christian Church.
Since I am new to the church it has been a nice time of fellowship with other church members. Jordan makes the class so enjoyable with his enthusiasm while answering our questions. He explains passages in terms that make it easy for us to understand. I am really learning a lot about Bible Stories! I would encourage anyone, who wants to learn more about the Bible to come & join us. You'll be glad you did!
