First Christian Church, located at 113 E. Crawford adjacent to "Old Town" Palestine welcomes you to our morning services each Sunday. The sermon by Reverend Jordan Byrd for Sunday, January 26, 2025, is entitled "That Time They Tried to Throw Jesus Off a Cliff," and the scripture reading will be from Luke 4: 14-30. Sunday School Disciples Class begins at 9:30 a.m. and Seekers begins at 9:45 a.m. Morning Worship Services begin at 10:40 a.m. Please join us in worship and fellowship. Immediately following morning worship, we will host our monthly Potluck Fellowship Dinner.
Since I am new to the church it has been a nice time of fellowship with other church members. Jordan makes the class so enjoyable with his enthusiasm while answering our questions. He explains passages in terms that make it easy for us to understand. I am really learning a lot about Bible Stories! I would encourage anyone, who wants to learn more about the Bible to come & join us. You'll be glad you did!
