First Christian Church, located at 113 E. Crawford adjacent to "Old Town" Palestine welcomes you to our morning services each Sunday. The sermon by Reverend Jordan Byrd for Sunday, April 28, 2024, is entitled "Getting There," and the scripture reading will be from 1 John 4: 7-16. Sunday School Disciples Class begins at 9:30 a.m. and Seekers begins at 9:45 a.m. Morning Worship Services begin at 10:40 a.m. Please join us in worship and fellowship. We will host fellowship dinner , immediately following church services, honoring our four high school graduates. Please bring your family and join us in fellowship, friendship, and plenty of good food for the soul. See ya' there!
Since I am new to the church it has been a nice time of fellowship with other church members. Jordan makes the class so enjoyable with his enthusiasm while answering our questions. He explains passages in terms that make it easy for us to understand. I am really learning a lot about Bible Stories! I would encourage anyone, who wants to learn more about the Bible to come & join us. You'll be glad you did!
