PASTOR's PRAYER February 17, 2019

Feb 25, 2019

God above we are reaching up, but our muscles are aging, tired, and failing.
God of wisdom, we are learning, but there is still so much we don't know.
God of the way, we are walking the path, but it is narrow and its hard to keep our balance.
Send us your energizing spirit, let us take a deep breath to bring air to failing muscle.
Illuminate, the things we need to notice that we may become wiser.
Embrace us as we walk the way, so we can lean on you when we loose our balance.
As we teeter, totter, fail, and falter breathe hope so we can rise as you did, that as we move limping towards your kingdom a more hopeful world might move with us, to lean into loving embrace.

Amen.

Since I am new to the church it has been a nice time of fellowship with other church members. Jordan makes the class so enjoyable with his enthusiasm while answering our questions. He explains passages in terms that make it easy for us to understand. I am really learning a lot about Bible Stories! I would encourage anyone, who wants to learn more about the Bible to come & join us. You'll be glad you did!
