HOLY WEEK here at FCC started with Maundy Thursday Service on Thursday, April 6, at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Easter Sunday begins with Sunrise Service at 7:00 a.m. out in the Pavilion Area, followed by a breakfast in the Fellowship Hall.
Sunday Schools begin at 9:30 (Disciples Class) and 9:45 (Seekers Class.
Sunday worship begins at 10:45 in the sanctuary for our Easter worship. Sermon title is "Twelve Times" and scripture is from 1 John 1:1-4. Reverend Jordan Byrd welcomes you to join us for all of our Holy Week servies here at First Christian Church, 113 E. Crawford Street, Old Town Palestine.
Since I am new to the church it has been a nice time of fellowship with other church members. Jordan makes the class so enjoyable with his enthusiasm while answering our questions. He explains passages in terms that make it easy for us to understand. I am really learning a lot about Bible Stories! I would encourage anyone, who wants to learn more about the Bible to come & join us. You'll be glad you did!
